The live experience
Imagine entering the Himmelsburg once in a lifetime and listening to the Weimar cantatas! The Himmelsburg Container made guest appearances at festivals in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands beginning in 2022. Since then thousands of visitors have visited the virtually "resurrected" castle chapel and took a seat on the three pews inside the Himmelsburg container. We look forward to new host cities and inform you here about dates and locations.

The city of Munich celebrates the 99th Bachfest of the Neue Bachgesellschaft – for the first time with a participatory approach: all organising partners come together under its umbrella and open up their own paths to Bach. Thanks to the abundance of outstanding orchestras, ensembles and artists in Munich and throughout Bavaria, as well as the density of excellent venues and energetic institutions, Bach's universe can be experienced in all its diversity in an extensive programme.
