The building with the beige-coloured facade, the white stucco decorations and the towers either side certainly looks impressive. Welcome to the Dorint hotel "Am Goethepark" in Weimar.

Anyone staying here not only has a glorious landscaped park right outside their front door but might even see Goethe's former home, where the poet and thinker spent 50 years of his life, from their room window. The hotel itself also consists of a complex of buildings with a long history, formed by the historic Villa Dingelstedt and the former Russian embassy. Both houses have been connected in an elegant way, resulting in a stylish combination of turn of the last century, modern classic and art nouveau.
