By plane

to Thuringia

If you have a longer journey and you use the airplane, you also get to Thuringia quite uncomplicated.

You can fly to all major airports in Germany, such as Frankfurt, Leipzig/Halle or Munich. By train you can reach Thuringia quickly - thanks to the ICE train station in Erfurt.

If you can't give up flying, you can make an additional payment with many airlines to compensate for the CO2 produced by the flight, for the sake of the environment. This means that your own share of the flight's CO2 emissions is offset by a payment to a climate protection project, for example.
