A new exhibition format for Thuringia

TRAVEL.21digital by Thüringer Tourismus GmbH is a new, virtual trade show format for tour operator, professional tour organisers, travel agents and travel media. 

Get in touch with Thuringian partners, gather information and enjoy inspiration in our event hall, including live tastings of Thuringian specialities.

We will look at the topics linked with cultural heritage and nature experience for 2022 and 2023, inform about new hotels and holiday apartments, take a view ahead on “Christmas Land in the Thuringian Forest” and may be able to give you one or two insider tips.

What can you expect to find at TRAVEL.21digital?

Deep forests, sunny meadows, blue rivers, great views and little surprises around the corner: Whether you enjoy being alone with nature or look for attractions along the route – hikers and cyclists can choose their individual routes from a large network of quality trails. Our Thuringian partners will be on site to inform and inspire you.

Translating the world

What sounds cryptic is the motto of our 2022 cultural campaign against the background of the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther's Bible translation. We will show how this historic event shaped the German language and culture and provide "a translation into letters, tones and colours". A presentation of Thuringia's cultural heritage provided by our partners from cities, museums and palaces.

Christmas Land in the Thuringian Forest

A glittering world of glass is at home in the Thuringian Forest. Did you know that his is the birthplace of glass Christmas decoration? We will show you where the glassmakers are at home and where they still produce the traditional way, and we will look ahead at an upcoming event region in the Thuringian Forest: the Christmas Land.

News from Thuringia
